Join Queen Char for a Santa baby Sensual Twerkshop from the comfort of your own home :) 

Starting at 2:00 pm MST on Saturday December 27th, online via Zoom, we will come together for a long overdue booty shaking celebration of our body, mind and spirit.

Bring out all the flannel, long johns and lingerie you've got! Wear whatever sexy means to YOU.

I invite you to simply show up for YOURSELF.

Show up for connection.

Show up for dance and celebration.

Show up for your mental health.

And/or show up for a simple smile and moment of self discovery.

Twerkshop Description:

This workshop is designed for all genders, backgrounds and levels with a focus on mindful movement through tribal expression. This is a process of tuning into your pelvic power... repatterning the self by repatterning your body language to embody the deepest self love.

Through playful movement and laughter, we dive into a process that guides you to release old habits of thinking, stepping into the space of trust within your body, your intuition and your authentic expression. With body rolls, pelvic realignment, booty popping, shaking/shimmying, floor work and isolations, you will learn to question how you can navigate this Africanist movement in body-affirming ways outside of the standard Euro-centric dance studio choreography context.

Let Queen C dance with you as you embody your most divinely sacred self, paying homage to our ancestors within the very fabric of our DNA… and honoring ourselves as the Ancestors to be.

We are the medicine we need.

What you need to participate:

*Have a yoga mat or knee pads

*Water

*Wear something you feel sexy in AND can move around in

*Computer, Tablet or phone to connect with us on Zoom 

*One candle and something to light it with 

*Sacred space in your home that you can move in (forward/back, side to side) 

*golf ball or tennis ball or something that you can roll your muscles on for some myofascial release

*An OPEN mind - Minds are like parachutes… they only work when open!

Length of Twerkshop Ceremony: 2.5 hours 

Experience level required: None - just got to have a body that you are wanting to give some love to

Cost per participant: $29

Please ensure that you have Zoom downloaded onto your computer or desktop prior to the start of class and have your camera on so that we may share in this experience together! Although the enitre Twerkshop will be recorded, it will not be shared.
