The Mothers Mic - NOW MAY 26

Introducing The Mother's Mic... an event dedicated to the words of mothers, in all their forms. ✨

The mic welcomes all those who loudly identify as a mother. Those who sign up can share poetry, acoustic song, their drum, a journal entry, etc. You will be given 5-7 minutes to share your piece(s). They do not need to directly speak on motherhood, however, we believe that you sharing your art as a mother is profound enough and deserves celebration.

💜This is a PWYC event ($0-$20) 

💜It will take place at Citizen on Jasper - 10110 120 St. NW 

💜 Open Mic registration begins at 1:30pm 

💜 Event to start at 2pm 

💜 Family friendly! There will be a kids zone and we ask parents to supervise their littles and respect whoever is on the mic. 

💜We will not tolerate hate speech, transphobia or gender discrimination of any kind.
